A Great Experience.

It's during our stay in Los Angeles that we had the joy of encountering Pierre André.

Originally, Pierre was a music teacher at the Le Lycée Français where he met our two sons: Julien and Vincent. Eventually, both of them developed a great relationship with him and started studying Piano privately.

The first year was a real challenge as we didn't own a real piano (just a small keyboard) and, despite Pierre's hard work, it was sometimes hard to keep the children interested. However, the second year we acquired an upright piano an it changed the landscape completely.

Vincent developed an impressive discipline with the instrument (he would wake up at 7AM and practice his Piano before attending the Lycée) while Julien, always a little more loose, mostly focused on tunes so that he could impress his friends every time there was a party.

When it came to the concerts, both Julien and Vincent handled the pressure well (a daily visit from Pierre for every day of the week that preceded the concert didn't hurt either !) and we were more than satisfied with the end result.

Now that we've relocated to France, will my children continue the piano ? Vincent definitely will, Julien maybe not but they will always remember the great time they spent with Pierre. Surely, we'll miss his energy.

Une Super Expérience.

C'est durant notre séjour à Los Angeles que nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer Pierre André.

A l'origine, Pierre était professeur de musique au Lycée Français où il avait rencontré nos deux fils: Julien et Vincent. Après avoir développé une relation de confiance, ils débutèrent sous sa tutelle des cours particuliers de Piano.

La première année fut un véritable défi car nous ne possédions pas de véritable Piano (un simple clavier numérique faisait office d'instrument) et, malgré les efforts constants de Pierre, il était quelquefois difficile de maintenir l'attention des enfants. Heureusement, une fois un Piano droit acquis en seconde année, la donne changea complètement.

Dés alors, Vincent développa une discipline impressionnante avec l'instrument (il se levait à 7h du matin pour pratiquer son Piano avant de partir pour le Lycée) tandis que Julien, toujours un peu plus relax, se concentrait surtout sur les chansons pour impressionner ses amis lors des goûters et autres anniversaires.

Quant aux concerts, Julien et Vincent ont bien supporté la pression (une visite journalière de Pierre pendant la semaine qui précédait le concert n'était pas inutile !) et nous avons été plus que satisfait par les résultats obtenus.

Maintenant que nous habitons en France, est-ce que nos enfants continueront le Piano ? Vincent, oui, Julien, peut-être pas, mais ils se rappelleront toujours de l'époque dorée vécue avec Pierre André. Ce qui est certain, c'est que son énergie nous manquera.

Notre perte est votre gain, donc n'hésitez pas à saisir la chance d'avoir accès à un excellent professeur.
